I feel my soulfulness redeemed by this conversation! A language I’ll be steeping in for the work of soul retrieval and healing shame. Also the inclusiveness and transcendence of multicultural wisdom. As a white American I found soulfulness and ancestral healing from my Irish Celtic roots but also feel the deep connection from African wisdom. Thank you women who are wise, respectful, woke and kind! We are the rainbow healers of our present, past future.
I would like a copy of the meditation – thank you so much. I was deeply moved by this interview. Thank you
I feel that words can’t express my gratitude for you in the best way. If I could, I would ask for permission and give you a loving warm hearty hug. This was so meaningful for me. Your ability to explain this subject is outstanding. The questions were very important to clarify the subjects you spoke about.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this amazing time and your most important work!
How wonderful to experience the soulful authentic exchange between two women who can connect from that space inside of them.Thank you Shelley&Pamela!
As I am living in South Africa & practise psychotherapy&SoulCollage ,your teaching so resonates with me.Blessings on your life&work.
Thank you so mich for this soul-full and soul-connecting converstion! Your regulated and bright presences, the comprehensiveness, the pacing. It was a blessing to be part of this, watching the recording.
What an honour to be in the presence of you both, thank you for offering your time and wisdom. It moved my heart and expanded my mind.
Thank you both so much. The linking of the past, present and options for the future with such felt presence and contextual framing was very beautiful!
Listening to this talk between two compassionate and regulated women has been a balm of healing to my soul. The meditation at the end was an unexpected gift that touched me beyond words. Thank you so much!
Thank-you for sharing your wisdome and deep felt compassion.
Thank you for this powerful and insightful conversation and meditation – such a beautiful example of generosity of spirit, kindness, knowledge sharing and mutual respect.
“shame is a disconnecting process; shame disconnects us from our inner wisdom, the truth of our worth and value, the truth that we are lovable and loved” – Dr. Shelly P. Harrell (31:41). . .. “connection is the key to our healing” (1:05:30) – Pamela Ayo Yetunde
This conversation contextualizes what I’ve learned about shame, compassion, polyvagal theory throughout this series and translates it into a language of soulfulness that makes sense to me at what feels like a cellular level. The interplay between Dr. Shelley and Dr. Pamela personifies that transformative, liberation connection between souls/vagal energies. The guided meditation will be working on my mind, heart and soul . . . I suspect . . . Forever. Thank you both for the blessing of your wisdom and healing presence.
Fantastic talk about shame and healing.I needed this.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us! This profoundly impacted me personally and will impact my professional life too.
Gracias por la profunda y holistica comprensión de lo humano. Tan valiosa para los distintos desafíos de la humanidad en distintas partes del mundo.
This was absolutely amazing! It was a transformational session full of wisdom and knowledge. I really enjoyed the meditation at the end. Thank you
Deepest, heartfelt gratitude. The loving kindness meditation in particular really unravelled my heart and heightened my self-awareness. Thank you for sharing this connecting practice.
Thank you both, Pamela and Shelly for this talk. Shelly, I would love to have a copy of this short kindeness meditation as well. I am a white Swiss living in Zürich Switzerland. I felt included in your talk, and the meditation deeply resonated with me, having my grandmother as an ancestor saying this to me. This is a blessing to me. I feel grateful.
I felt soulfulness in me until my experience with chronic pain. Chronic pain really impacts my perception of my soul. I didn’t know this about the human condition until now!
Perfect and tremendouslly moving! Annepl@videotron.ca
I cant seem to watch the video – it says it is unavailable
This was tremendously uplifting and grounded in practical wisdom. Two takeaways for me were the advice that Professional Healers get to know their own roots of shame. And, the powerful practice of invoking ancestors presence, to affirm and remind us of our worth, dignity, and safety. Thank You!
This conversation spoke deeply to me. Thank you to both the interviewer and guest for a truly soulful experience!
This is a treasure! I would love a copy of the ‘new’ Kindness meditation.
