I am Sister of the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus (HHCJ) serving the people of God in Kenya. At the moment, I am serving in our formation house. I am excited for this training because in make work of formation and working with the youth I encounter a lot of them that have been badly wounded and in dire need of healing. So learning how to heal trauma with compassion sounds like healing like Jesus. The knowledge and the skill will help to bring healing to me as well as those I encounter in this journey who have passed through trauma and needs a compassionate heart to listen and extend a hand of healing.
