Hello. Glad to be here. I have been in the mental health field since 1987 starting with being a volunteer counselor on University of Maryland student hotline. I’ve worked in many settings in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Arizona through my career. I am 59 and winding down and again working through some issues this time mostly grief and loss and personal illness/ aging while continuing to manage and be effective in my work with clients both in person and remote. I’m also a hypnotherapist and registered play therapist and balancing and continuing to deliver quality therapy is personally challenging during high periods of stress in particular My practice New World Counseling LLC is in Delaware and serves pa also as well as some of neighboring Maryland residents which is my state of residence and serves people from ages 3-75 although I make exceptions for people that are older or younger that are within my scope of competence . I am reaching out to stay informed open and involved in any way I can and I am grateful to learn more about this approach and it’s applications both personally and professionally.
