Growing up a female in a collectivist, conservative society, shame has always guided my decisions starting from whether to allow myself to have different opinions/ not having to conform, to how to laugh in public! I know that shame is my current biggest internal hurdle. I also know that many of my loved ones experienced it. I am incredibly excited to attend this training. As I am particularly interested in social psychology, the topic of shame is one of my favorites to study and research.
