I have been interested in EFT for a while now and this was my first chance to see Sue speak live. It was such a revelation to hear her humility, her warmth and her honesty as a therapist. I am truly inspired and moved. Thank you Sue, for offering me what I needed to hear.
I loved the ending note on how Sue Johnson talks about how she wants to be a human and not a guru, and how she always learns from each client. As an associate who uses EFT, my clients know so, so much more than I do and sometimes I feel lost and will get down on myself because I think all I did that session was reflect. As you both described, reflecting is so much more than just repeating back! It’s amazing to hear brilliant, successful therapists like Sue Johnson and Michelle Becker speak from a place of humility and authenticity about how we are always learning as therapists from our clients. Thank you!
Thank you for this!
