Heart touching. Your authenticity is outstanding.
Thank you for helping me getting insights about what anxiety is and what depression is and how mindful and compassinate practise help us to be friend with them and help us move toward “experiential approach” rather than “experiential avoidance”.
Thank you so much for your dedication.
It was an amazing interview! I really enjoyed and learned a lot about the roots of anxiety and depression dilemma and the practical ways to approach them in psychotherapy. Thank you so much!
I could not stop smiling; you have such a child like joy in your voice
Thank you so much, Dr. Siegel. I was really touched and excited by your kind and honest talk on issues I also struggled in my life and professional carreer. I liked the format of flowing dialogue with interesting questions of Dr. Ravi. Kind regards from Prague.
Thanks Ron, I really enjoyed this presentation.
I really enjoyed this presentation, thanks Ron
A great example of how a good sense of humor and the courage to open up , in a teacher makes it so much easier for the student to learn.
Thank you for your insights of the evolutionary importance of fear, an d how turning toward it is the wiser thing to do. Thank you for your comments on how self compassion is a s valuable as a secure attachment. And thank you both for this shared experience.
Super presentation thank you!
One of my favorite talks! Thank you. 🙂
Thank you Dr. Siegel for the laughs which come from the laughter of recognition! Thank you for teaching such caring and freeing practices with such lightness. Your presentation was a treat.
This was so lovely and educational – felt its truth to my core. And going forward, committed to making connections vs impressions. Thank you for the time and effort in preparing and presenting.
Lieber Ron & Ravi, habt Dank für Eure Offenherzigkeit und Nahbarkeit. Eine wundervolle Session. Ich fühlte mich verbunden und die Selbst-Besessenheit konnte mit Humor ein wenig lockerer werden!
I agree. 🙂 “Dear Ron & Ravi, thank you for your openness and closeness. A wonderful session. I felt connected and the self-obsession could be loosened a little with humor!”
Thank you very much for this inspirational, informative video full of warmth and wisdom. Thank you both for such a nice talk.
Well guys you look wonderful, despite the limits you like everybody has! And this is because you are there despite the difficulties to be there , speaking to us of difficulty things , despite the fact that you do it going toooooo fast that I cannot follow you ……..
This was such a wonderful session, thank you very very much! I laughed and cried and now both my son (also a psychotherapist) and my husband (psychiatrist) have to watch it as well 😅!! I am so grateful and happy that all these wonderful people talk about things that really interest me so much, that are so important to me and my work as a Gestalt Therapist (in Germany). Thank you!!
I really loved this video. Dr. Siegel brought anxiety and depression into a new frame work for me. Thank you!
Such and informative and insightful conversation! Transformative for me.
This session was my favorite so far, Dr. Siegel has such a way of talking that makes him very relatable and down to earth. Many times I have wondered if I am good enough or doubt of myself, which it causes sometimes stress and later, if continues lingering, anxiety. However, I am learning that I will have good days and not so good ones also, as long as I am facing my fears, I think I will be okay. Thank you and thank you Dr. Chandra for participate and allow yourself to be vulnerable. GRACIAS!!
I think it’s one of my favorite, too! 🙂
Also, you and I are good enough! 🙂
Thank you for your research although I do not think that we know what our former former parents thoughts were, but I understand the message how old our imprents are. I want tot thank you for the excersice in being friends with fear. To feel the tension to be with it, to say yes you may be here. To explore for as far as possible. To bring courage in being with the feelings as normal human feelings! Even if you have all kinds of so called disorders. Or lets call it pains, deep pains and trauma’s. To show how important it is that we hold eachother and can be with eachother in times of deep distress. Thanks for your normality to be human:)
Thanks to both of you! So rich and appreciate your authentic personal sharing. Like the Stepping into Fear Practice and the leaning into what depression is about.
This was such a wonderful session. Ron you helped me clear all the dust on the glass.
Really valuable session. Thank you.
Thanks so much Ron, I’ve had a lot of favourite sessions this week, but I thinik this has been my favourite favourite! Such a wonderful packaging of the state of being human.
Rons framework is so clear and relatable. Great session!
