Hi I really like this summit I enjoy helping people so this helps me to broaden my outlook and understand how to communicate with them
Hello, I am very glad to attend this summit with all of you. I am looking forward to learning things can share with the clients I work with about compassion. I enjoy learning from others. I live in Silver Spring, Maryland, and learning in an environment where people come from all over the globe is very exciting to me.
Listening to the video of Paul Gilbert this second day, who tells about detoxing the memories or emotions, that it first becomes worse, I recognized it by listening and exercising to the beautiful compassion exercerxise of Tara Brach the first day. I got this morning a terrible nightmare. And in fact its a eyeopener. A part of me which had no permission to really be there in my life, the part which is not able to live in this big world, can not go on with my very strong other side. And I feel if its like a permission to come free as it is now. A lot of pain yes, but also the uppertunity to let this live with the rain compassion. The exercise to go in the day with compassion talks to myself. I want to thank you. Corine
Hello, I’m Véronique, pianist from Switzerland, and I wish to be always more authentic and related to others in my art. I think that welcome my weaknesses will guide my to more simplicity and more efficienty to touch other people, and help me to let my own music emerge.
I’m very glad to have heard of this event, thanks a lot to have contacted me.
Excited to hear more.
I am very thankfull to be able to hear free as many of the DR and PHD that I hav already known
Tara Brach has been during the worst part of 2020 confinement a very present light to follow.
Is there a way to get Dr. Harrell’s meditation, Sawubona? The best I’ve ever heard. Thank you!
Let me know if you find out how to access the sawubona meditation please. Thanks
I enjoyed a lot . Thanks

When starts the seninar?
I am thetapist
Hello! I’m a psychologist in private practice in central Maine, US. I’ve been studying & incorporating Mindfulness & Compassion In Therapy for over a decade and am looking forward to immersing myself in the workshops of this summit. So grateful to have this opportunity to hear some of my favorite teachers.
Hello, this is Caifang from Beijing. I got my graduate education ( Master and Ph.D in USA) and have resettled in Beijing since 2010. I found and direct the Beijing Center for Counseling and Meditation. OVer the past couple of decades I have been integrating psychological counseling and Buddhist meditation and have developed my own model which is now called grounding and communication as an integrative therapy. It was published in US last year as a chapter of the Holistic Treatment in Mental Health. Nonetheless I have not used much of the compassion part of the traditional wisdom. So, I am delighted to know this Compassion in Therapy Summit and already learnt quite a bit on the first day opening sessio dialouge among the leading speakers and practitioners. Thanks and will continue to find time to learn as much as I. “Compassionate people have soft front and strong back”. I like this conviction from Tara.
How do i access session 2?
The anonymous person who wrote about Victoria Bennet, calling her a bigot, evil, disgusting, etc. is the one who should be ashamed for putting down another human being of any race, creed, sex, etc. Such language directed toward anyone is cruel, uncalled for, and is taking advantage of the people who put on this elevating program who are compassionate, sympathetic to victims of this COVID-19 pressures, and a self serving past president, who seems to think he has a right to use and belittle others, and ruining
their lives, according to his whims. But I am guilty of not wanting him/her or anyone else to put down these highly professional, well-educated and kind people putting on this program. By being angry at whomever called Victoria a “bigot”, I’m getting into the same slimy cesspool as that writer, spoiling a much needed respite from this cruel world. Where is the protection for these vulnerable people? Someone should screen out offensive comments!
free speech means allowing people to speak with whom you disagree
I agree Charlotte – there were a few times that I read some negative comments that took me so by surprise it felt like a slap – I was just shocked that someone who would participate in this beautiful summit would be so personally toxic – and then I thought – they are people who REALLY need to be here to learn and hear the messages and I can use them as that ‘neutral’ person to think of in a living kindness meditation – but it really does make me feel sad for them that they are holding such bitterness
Checking in from Copenhagen Denmark – looking forward to see and hear some of the people whos researh and practice have inspired med for a couple of decades <3
Thank you for bringing so much comassionate power togerther in one place!

All of the talks i have listened to so far have been amazing, nourishing and practically applicable.
So thank you all again!
Good evening, I am Maya from Ontario Canada. I really loved Ronald’s candidness about the transitional self concept as a therapist. Shelly’s message to love your clients was so refreshing and confirming to hear. thank you! Also, Russell’s gentle practice with meeting and merging with our inner compassionate guide was moving. Its a rich offering and i thank you all. Lovely work by the interviewers as well.
I just want to say thank you, Chris Germer, for the beautiful Giving and Receiving Compassion meditation.
What a wonderfully rich and truly inspiring summit! Usually being very carefully selective of what I spend my time with and expose my mind to, I’ve found myself watching nearly every session of this gathering… I especially appreciate the natural intertwine of theoretical and experiental bits and the light and easy general tone of the summit, e.g. reflected by the many personal anecdotes (which is obviously possible “even” in these times). Thank you, thank you, thank you!
With Love, Charlotte (from Berlin, Germany)
Hi,
We DON’T need hateful blog posts such as the one by:
“Concerned January 31, 2021 at 1:23 pm“
PLEASE DELETE this post for the positive & healing spirit of us all. Spewing venomous comments are neither helpful nor conducive to a program focused on healing & compassion! I am reminded of an exhortation I once heard: “Go in peace, but GO!”
Any other readers concur with me? Please be BOLD enough to speak out and say so!
THANK YOU!

Hello everyone I am Arva from Pune India Practicing as a Counselling psychologist and a Bach flower therapist since 2010, A big thankyou for giving me the opportunity to attend this conference all the speakers were so so knowledgeable and experienced I personally got to learn a lot which I am going to use in my personal life as well as my practice, the only request for the organisers from my side is, if you could extend the duration of the videos on air as due to the hectic schedule couldn’t get the opportunity to listen to all the speakers, Thankyou so much once again.
One thing that I would just like to mention is some of the members above are discussing about some negative comments posted by some participants,I would just like to say this to the people who are concerned that please do not focus too much on the negatives just exppress your discomfort about it and just let it go in the universe the universe will discard the unwanted because when we focus on the negatives we are actually feeding it with our energies which gives it force and fuel to do more harm and negative.
Thank-you.
A Wonderful gift to share with our global community. Thank you.
